अवार-नवार छोरियां / Every Now and Then Girls...

This is a 2D stop motion animation film made by myself, Shivi Bhatnagar, and my dear friend Shefalee Jain. The film adapts a Rajasthani folktale called 'Dohri Joon' to tell the story of two girls navigating oppressive patriarchal structures and looking for the possibility of new futures beyond these structures. It uses magic realism and non-linear storytelling to weave their journey.

The film had a World premiere at Animela Festival 2025, Mumbai in the Best Indian Shorts category and an International premiere at the Guanajuato International Film Festival, Mexico, in the India Focus section. It was awarded Best Animation Film at the Aravali International Film Festival, New Delhi, 2026.

Asia Art Archive

Digitisation at Asia Art Archive, I had the opportunity to contribute to Asia Art Archive's mission by shooting the New Delhi, India segment of this video. The project highlights the meticulous and hands-on process of digitizing physical materials to make contemporary art history more accessible. Spanning four locations—Hong Kong, Jakarta, New Delhi, and Taipei—this video captures the dedication behind preserving and sharing art history.

The Great African Caravan
I was part of The Great African Caravan (GAC), a journey of 12 artists from 7 different nations who traveled across 10 countries in Africa, covering more than 16000 km on road from Cape Town to Cairo. A journey to re-discover self and the world around, unearth and ‘unborder’ the concepts of identity, race, nationality, culture, and more. In each nation, we worked with the local artists and community members to create dialogues,  learn from, to produce collaborative work and performances, and to find more ways of how art can bring the world together. In this project I was working as a Director of Photography, and documenting the whole journey.
